Mid-Term Missions

Mid-term missionaries are often people who are at a life transition point or are taking a significant first step into long-term missions. Mid-Term projects range from 8 weeks to 2 years and should have clearly defined ministry objectives and trip outcomes.

My name is Adam Pietrantonio. In October of 2017 I was appointed as a career missionary to Japan with Fellowship International—I have a tentative departure date of early 2020. Part of my preparation for the mission field is completion of a Master’s of Divinity program called Immerse, designed specifically to equip me for service in Japan. I am also volunteering with Power to Change — Students at the University of Guelph, co-leading the international student ministry. I have the pleasure of engaging with students from different countries, Japan included! If you are interested to hear more about my preparation for Japan, Fellowship International or anything in between, feel free to email me at adam.pietrantonio@gmail.com

Michaella Fortune

My name is Michaella Fortune. I moved to Guelph in September of 2017 to begin an internship with Power to Change – Students. In my undergrad at Queen’s University, I grew in my faith and in leadership through this campus ministry. I fell in love with their vision to see no student graduate without hearing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. I am currently doing a second internship in the head office in Guelph, working with the Creative Communications department as an illustrator and graphic designer. In this way, I am able to use my artistic abilities and skills to help create products and resources for Christian students to use across Canada. I am blessed to call Church of the City my home and I am thankful for their support! If you would like to hear more about my ministry you can email me at michaella.fortune@p2c.com
