Disciple’s Pathfinder

Churches everywhere talk about discipleship, but what does that word actually mean? Why is it important? We talk often about following Jesus together in Guelph. For us, following Jesus is discipleship! It is why we exist! Discipleship is being with Jesus, being transformed by him, and participating in this transformation in others. Consider Christ’s invitation to his first disciples: “Follow me,” he told them, “and I will make you fish for people.” Communion, transformation, multiplication.

In order to continually grow into Christ’s likeness (what the Scriptures call maturity) we must know where we are in our discipleship journey, and where we are headed. In describing this discipleship journey, the New Testament often uses the language of growing from spiritual babies into spiritual parents who, in turn, can raise more spiritual kids.

Our friends at Saturate have developed a great resource for finding your spot on this journey and knowing how to continue to grow. They’ve called it The Disciple’s Pathfinder. Fill out the form below to get started!

We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
